BritBox delivers reliable HD streaming, ensuring smooth playback with minimal buffering. The platform uses adaptive streaming, adjusting video quality based on internet speed with minimal interruption. While the platform is available in various regions across the globe, you might not find the same content library due to cinema licensing. However, we don’t want you to miss out on your favorite entertainment while you are traveling or moving to a new country. For this review, we tried streaming BritBox using VPN services NordVPN and ExpressVPN.

The UK and most British regions are quite strict with streaming content outside their regions, which is also why most VPNs fail. It can be BBC iPlayer, ITV, or even BritBox. However, with NordVPN and ExpressVPN, we were able to unblock BritBox’s content library across the globe and stream with minimal or no interruptions. In fact, BBC, too. Of course, it depends on your internet connection and the server you pick, but the good news is that it is possible to do so.

However, the platform lacks 4K streaming, which would’ve been great to watch period dramas with enhanced clarity. But we don’t think it’s much of an issue for the majority of the users, as HD streaming, too, is nearly comfortable and sufficient. Apart from this, users can continue streaming on multiple devices and have multiple profiles set up to watch and enjoy their content independently.
